In csgo when i have UNCHECKED disabling fullscreen optimalisation my average fps on workshop fps test map is 317 everything on low. But when i CHECK the disabling fullscreen optimalisation my average fps are 500. But when i have it checked the screen doesnt feel smoother. So UNCHECKED-lower fps, more smooth in lower fps.

It isn't as noticeable as 60hz to 144hz but it deff helps and only if you can get 240fps in csgo. Isn't that hard but maybe on a potAto pc it is. Extra fps in csgo always helps for smoothness even if your capped by your monitor. CSGO is CPU demanding and there is no reason to cap it. Unless you have a processor from 2008 running csgo at 30 fps.
For some reason my cs go is capping at 144 fps in game. I have checked that fps is on max, vsync is not on in CSGO or Nvidia settings. Gysnc is not on. (CS:GO), and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). Counter-Strike enjoys a thriving esports scene and dedicated competitive playerbase, as well as a robust creative community.
Again, G-SYNC doesn't cause "extra" input lag, it prevents tearing. As for RTSS, it typically has up to 1 frame more input lag than an in-game limiter, but can be lower lag than uncapped at the same FPS, so no, we're not talking 5ms "added" input lag vs no sync at the same framerate (using the same FPS cap) within a 240Hz refresh rate, more like < 1ms, if that.
Going over 999 fps can cause stuttering in csgo, so you should probably cap it at that. The more fps the better is true but some people prefer a fps value that it's stable instead of having it higher but fluctuating. That's personal preference but again don't go higher than 999.
2.4 Adding individual game profiles On RTSS, click on the green button labeled "Add", located in the bottom left corner of the window, then navigate to the game's main folder and select its EXE. RTSS's default settings (and functions) should work for most games, but for Scanline Sync, you'll need to enable a few specific settings in the individual profiles of each game.
If you go from 144 fps to 288 fps on a 144 Hz monitor, you go from ~7 to ~3.5 ms response time. And if you're on a 60 Hz monitor and you go from 60 fps to 240 fps, then you go from ~17 to ~4 ms response time, which is definitely noticeable, even going from 60 to 120 fps is very noticeable. Watch the video I posted and you'll get what I'm
What you can do is cap your FPS to a certain number so that there's less fluctuations between framerates or get a monitor that has G-Sync capabilities. We play a lot of games with variable framerates though and unless it's constantly dipping from 120 to 200 there usually isn't a massive issue but of course this depends on your tolerance
You don't need to cap FPS unless your PC is struggling with FPS. And no, don't listen to that bullshit that you have 75 then you should have 150 fps etc. it doesnt really matter when you have that low hz. fps_max 300 is the safest bet here. 2013-11-12 01:58. 1 reply go to the launch options in your steam CS:GO and set these things: -rate
